/The Ancient Dildo
Found in Sweden
Is it a dildo? It certainly looks like one.
A phallic carved object was recently discovered at a Mesolithic site in Motala, Sweden, one rich with artifacts dated between 4,000 to 6,000 BC. This Stone Age object is carved of antler horn and it certainly looks like a phallus, if not a dildo.
It's about 4 inches long and a little less than 1 inch in diameter.
An archaeologist who worked on the excavation is hesitant to draw conclusions."Your mind and my mind wanders away to make this interpretation about what it looks like – for you and me, it signals this erected-penis-like shape. But if that's the way the Stone Age people thought about it, I can't say."
But we can imagine.
