Her book, Different Loving: the World of Sexual Dominance and Submission, is the quintessential text on the depth of BDSM dynamics. Her most recent book, Come Hither: A Commonsense Guide to Kinky Sex was selected the “official guide to kinky sex” by the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality.

Brame has a PhD and MPH in Human Sexuality, and an M.A. in English Literature. Annie Sprinkle calls her the “Albert Einstein of kinky sex.”
