If anyone is the forerunner of the post-porn movement of authenticity and spontaneous beauty, it's Natacha Merritt. Her book, Digital Diaires, published by Taschen in 2000, is a compilation of adventuring with her lovers, friends and herself.  The moments captured are raw, with unexpected composition and they have the effect of drawing one into an incredibly intimate space. 

This image is a perfect representation of Merritt's style: She's showing us her pussy, yet her eyes and bearing are soft, open, inviting. I feel like nothing has shifted with the presence of the camera.  This is truly Merritt's art.
